PERMANENT POSITION - We are looking for an experienced Devops Engineer (m/f/x).

The job:

 

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for Support development, technical support and other teams in their day to day jobs.

You are the “Role model” in quality and all release and deployment aspects and good practices.

You are eager in improving processes and willing proactively to take up extra responsibilities (e.g. automate manual processes, smoothen existing processes).

 

You want to:

  • Understand system architecture and modifications of it to improve processes implementations (K8S, AWS, GCP, Monitoring, CI/CD…);
  • Give accurate estimations, actual and ETC (estimate time of completion);
  • Manage access control to source code and build tools;
  • Train new users on tools;
  • Follow up upgrade of tools and technologies for the development and deployment process;
  • Propose and organize trainings and attend conferences (for example: Devoxx);
  • Monitor tools and development/test platforms;
  • Take quality related decisions;
  • Choose the most appropriate solution among a set of learned possible choices;
  • Help estimating budget for tools and user licenses;
  • Help the Product owner defining the roadmap of several tools;
  • Demonstrate professional individual relationships with internal and external Stakeholders to deliver required outcomes.

You have:

  • A Bachelor or equivalent level acquired through experience;
  • You are familiar with tools as Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Linux, Bash, Docker, K8S, GCP;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in automating deployments of applications towards several environments;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the java world.
  • An excellent command of the main processes, systems, tools used Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Nexus, Java, Linux, Bash, Docker, K8S, GCP, CI/CD Implementation, follow up and support.

You are:

  • Fluent in either French or Dutch and fluent in IT related English ;
  • A good communicator with internal and external contacts.

The job:



In the context of increasing demand for digital solutions, we are looking for DevSecOps engineers to design-build-deliver solutions for the notary community. You will be member of an agile development team with full product lifecycle responsibility and work in close co-operation with the product owner, architect and scrum master of the team. Together with the other team members you are committed and proud to deliver the best solutions for your target customers.

Depending on your interests and experience, you will be engaged in developing the front-end, back-end or full stack of applications.



You are responsible to:



Provide support towards application development teams
Implement and support CI/CD pipelines in order to package and deliver applications to various environments
Implement system architecture and modifications of it to improve process implementations
Develop plans, test them and deploy applications as defined by the user stories / epics and conformant to our technology-, quality- and security- guidelines
Actively participate in agile ceremonies
Contribute to the development of platform centric ecosystem of cloud native applications
Propose enhancements and improvements of your solution and your way of working
Adopt new concepts and technologies that bring value in a pragmatic way


You have / are:



Master degree in IT or Computer Science or have a related experience
At least 2-3 years working experience in similar role
Knowledge of Domain Driven Design and Design Patterns
Experience with scaled agile development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams, strong communication skills
Experience with cloud native development, CI/CD pipelines, Java and Angular is a plus
Eager to learn and to keep up-to-date with new IT trends
Professional proficiency of IT-related English and basic understanding of Dutch or French
Feel comfortable to work in self organizing teams with result accountability
Open mind to new ideas
Pro-active, autonomous, flexible thinker and do-er
Experience with tools, like TKGI on top of Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Elastic Search, Ansible,…
A good knowledge of CI/CD Implementation, follow up and support
Optionally, experience in software development, preferably in the java world
Optional knowledge about Nexus
