The job : Teamleader product development

 

With your team of developers, functional analysts and testers you are responsible for the development of applications, from a functional as well as technical point of view.

You contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.

 

You want to...

  • Manage the complete product lifecycle of a product driven by the product backlog (Product lifecycle covers analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and L3 Support);
  • Be responsible to deliver new versions of his/her products based on agreed scope provided by Product manager;
  • Be in charge of people management on a daily basis of a team of analysts, testers, developers;
  • Ensure the respect of company development standards (security, confidentiality, auditability…);
  • Help the team as an agile coach to deliver the stories /epics;
  • Facilitate continuous improvement of key development performance indicators (velocity, quality, etc.);
  • Facilitate delivery within the agreed timeframe;
  • Establish and ensure adoption of standards, ceremonies, and best practices for agile ways of working;
  • Monitor and communicate progress of agile teams’ key metrics (e.g., OKRs and KPIs) to stakeholders (e.g., IT and business leaders);
  • Facilitate the organization’s transition to a continuous delivery model and adoption of an agile mindset across stakeholders.
  • Assist with establishing chapters and developing a culture of continuous improvement across teams.

You have

  • A Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent through experience;
  • A proven track in project and process management;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in coaching teams in agile way of working;
  • Knowledge and/or interest in IT tools;
  • An openness to new solutions and technologies;
  • A very good knowledge of English, Dutch & French.

  • Able to prioritize various requests, ranking the importance vs the urgency, while keeping the customer’s interest as a priority;
  • A Team player at ease with sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues.
